Your first visit

What to expect on your first visit

No mystery and no pressure. Here is exactly what happens, what to bring, and how to find the clinic in Twickenham.

Step by step

What happens in 60 minutes

Case history

We talk through your symptoms, daily activities, and relevant medical background, so the picture is clear before any hands-on work.

Physical assessment

Movement tests and, where relevant, orthopaedic and neurological screening to find what is actually driving your symptoms.

Hands-on treatment

Treatment tailored to what the assessment shows: soft tissue work, joint mobilisation, neurodynamics, or progressive loading.

Your plan

You leave knowing what is going on, what to do next, and any exercises or self-care, with an honest estimate of how many sessions you may need.

Be prepared

What to wear and bring

  • Loose, comfortable clothing you can move in (shorts and a t-shirt or vest are ideal)
  • A list of any medication you take and relevant past injuries or scans
  • Any imaging reports (X-ray, MRI) if you have them, though they are not required
  • Privacy and comfort are always respected, a towel or gown is available if preferred
